We have made our “Getting Started” booklets and will be using those for the next few activities. We also found our quadrant partners for discussion and response.
We conducted interviews in class and prepared introductions of our partners to the class.

We have made our “Getting Started” booklets and found quadrant partners for our next few activities.
We listened to a reading from The Grapes of Wrath and brainstormed the characteristics of good writing found in it.

The beginning of this year is one of big changes for you and for me. You are starting new classes and meeting new teachers. I am meeting new students AND moving to a different classroom. Have patience with me. I may still be looking for things at Christmas.
Each school year is a brand new start. We leave the old stuff (not the old learning) behind and start with a clean slate.
I am looking forward to getting to know each and every one of you.
